Newsletter revived!
After a hiatus, we can again begin publishing our newsletter! This is made possible thanks to the commitment of Alex and Kathleen Edillor, who have graciously volunteered to be a part of our PrimeTime ministry. Kathleen serves on our planning committee along with Don Hall, Norma Stone and me, Pastor Rich Wieneke. Brother Alex will be our “editor-in-chief” for our bi-monthly newsletter, which we’ll call PrimeTime Link (PTL). This newsletter’s purpose is to link you, our Prime-Timers, to the latest news, information and activities to enrich your fellowship at Bakersfield First Church.
All you need to do to keep connected is to pick up a copy from the Prime-Time table in the patio on Sundays.

Who is a PrimeTimer?
If I may, I’d like to address a familiar refrain about PrimeTimers. I hear many of you say, “Oh no! I am NOT a senior or Prime-timer!”
With a hat tip to Jeff Fox-worthy’s “You might be a redneck if …” routine, let me erase some misconceptions about this ministry.

 If you are age 55 and older — you just might be a PrimeTimer.
 If you enjoy fellowshipping with this age group — you just might be a Prime-Timer.
 If you like to eat, go on trips, or play games — you just might be a Prime-Timer.

In summary, being a PrimeTimer is more a state of mind. We won’t ever check your ID. Our invitation to you is to just come, join us, and plan on having a great time with like-minded folks.
Love you all, Pastor Rich
